We are pleased to introduce you to the principal cast members of our fantastic show – All Shook Up

Liam Sargeant

All Shook Up marks Liam’s fifth show with MUSCOM, having joined them for their production of Footloose back in 2012. He is currently studying English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford and is very grateful to still be able to perform with MUSCOM alongside such talented friends. Some of his favourite roles to date include ‘Jean Valjean’ Les Miserables, ‘Emmett’ Legally Blonde, ‘Drew’ Rock of Ages, ‘Roger’ RENT and ‘Danny’ Grease. He would like to thank everyone involved in the production of All Shook Up and hopes you enjoy the show!

Katie Astbury

This is Katie’s second show with MUSCOM after joining in 2014 for the amateur premier of Legally Blonde; she is thrilled to be back with her MUSCOM family, performing alongside such a talented cast, in the role of Natalie. Playing Natalie has been a challenge for Katie, embodying both a woman and a man simultaneously has proved quite difficult, but she has had such a lot of fun bringing the role to life and making it her own. Katie has been performing in amateur theatre throughout the west midlands from the age of 8 and has had the pleasure of playing such roles as: Elle Woods (Legally Blonde), Bonnie Parker (Bonnie and Clyde), Cinderella (Into the Woods) and Nina (In the Heights) to name but a few. When Katie is not performing, she is studying primary education at the university of Wolverhampton, teaching singing at Nathan Rose Music school or dance teaching at The Arts Centre Telford. She sincerely hopes you enjoy the show, and would like to thank the amazing cast a creative team for there continued support and love!

  Zachary Hollinshead
Zak is thrilled to be returning to the Grand again for ‘All Shook Up’. He last appeared with muscom as Kyle the UPS delivery guy in ‘Legally Blonde’ 2014 and is most looking forward to getting back on stage. Other roles here at the Grand have included Smee in Bilston’s ‘Peter Pan’ and cameo appearance as the P.E teacher in ‘Hairspray’ usually remembered by her rather saggy bosoms. When not performing Zac is also the owner of the local zoo ‘Wild Zoological Park’. www.wildzoo.co.uk . He hopes you enjoy the show!
  Kimberly Corsellis

Kimmy has been performing since the age of 3. She has been Muscom’s Dance Captain since 2007, and became Assistant Choreographer in 2010. She teaches at The Denise Robinson School of Dance and has her Teaching Qualifications in Theatre Craft with the I.D.T.A. Kimmy also studied choreography at the NODA Summer School and has achieved a distinction for her grade 6 Singing Musical Theatre Exam.

 Mike Astley Mike Astley

Mike has performed in many Amateur Dramatic shows since he was young, performing roles such ‘Lucas’ in The Addams Family and ‘Franz’ in ‘Rock Of Ages’ Over the past few years, Mike has been auditioning for stage school, and gained Re Call auditions for both BA Hons Musical Theatre courses at GSA, and Mountview Academy Of Theatre Arts, and The Arts Educational Schools. Michael is thrilled to be apart of his first MUSCOM show as Dean Hyde and wishes the rest of the cast the best of luck.

 Jess Olford Jess Olford

Jess is currently working towards a level three extending diploma in Musical Theatre at BOA. She’s been performing since the age of six and has been lucky enough to play roles such as: Belle – Beauty and the Beast, Tracy – Hairspray, Serena – Fame and Fantine – Les Misérables. This is Jess’s second show with MUSCOM and she’s delighted to be playing the part of Lorraine. She’s had an amazing time working with the fantastic cast and creative team. She sincerely hopes you enjoy the show

 Chris Wolverson Chris Wolverson

Chris joined MusCom for South Pacific as Lt Cable. After missing a few
years, he’s very pleased to rejoin for All Shook Up. Starting out in Oliver
40 years ago he’s performed almost every duty including director, MD, DSM,
and trumpeter.  He has played a variety of roles, favourites including Tevye
(Fiddler on the Roof), Curly (Oklahoma), Sky (Guys and Dolls), Wild Bill
(Calamity Jane), Dafydd (Chorus of Disapproval), Gerald (An Inspector
Calls), Sebastian (Twelfth Night), Governor (Parade) and both Oscar and
Herman (Sweet Charity).

 Johann Davis Johann Davis

Jo loves the challenge of a new show for amateurs. She is also a member of South Staffs Musical Theatre and has been in quite a number of shows over the years, ore recently playing the part of Mrs Hart in 9 to 5. Jo is really pleased to be part of such a talented cast of people in MUSCOM and playing the part of Mayor Matilda Hyde.

J Paul Murdock

Paul treads the boards of the Grand for the first time after helping backstage last year for MUSCOM’s Fame. A Member of CHAOS for 35 years, he has played roles as diverse as Hans Andersen, Jud Fry, Fagin, Billy Crocker and Kris Kringle. Paul won the Birmingham and District Theatre Guild’s Best Male Performance Award for Bill Snibson in Me and My Girl, which won 4 other prizes including NODA’s Best Production. He greatly looks forward to performing with MUSCOM
